I guess Jing Fong is in the “try harder” mode in response to negative criticism, and given the “New” in the restaurant title, I’m now wondering if it’s also because management has changed hands and needs to rectify a bad situation they inherited. The hostess could have been nasty about our reluctance, but she wasn’t. me to have an open mind, especially since the restaurant was conveniently located to our downtown stroll, and the Thai restaurant we would have chosen was visibly overpriced.īefore committing to taking a table, we checked out the buffet which didn’t wow either of us, but for $11.95, we assumed there would be at least a few salvageable items that could constitute a meal. The previous reviews of Jing Fong were admittedly a turnoff to me, but I was encouraged. My son and I came here for an early dinner on Saturday night after realizing that the choices for eating well without paying a fortune were limited in Littleton. There is free parking about a block away, or some curbside parking as well. Jing Fong is located on Main Street not far from the historic opera house, library, post office and a slew of cute shops and eateries. The night we were there they did a big take out business and a steady stream of diners came in for the buffet Each of our combo dinners were $8 quite a bargain for good, fresh food. His chicken was very sweet, with a real kick. My husband had orange chicken with the egg roll and the pork fired rice. I subbed crab Rangoon instead of an egg roll, and was surprised that I got three large pieces. with a large portion of expertly cooked white rice (or pork fried rice if you prefer). My cashew chicken was loaded with veggies and nuts, had a nice sauce and a fair amount of chicken. Jing Fong has a buffet if you are so inclined, but we opted to order fresh-cooked off the menu.
